On-Exchange Repo in Argentina

In this webinar, we are going to explain the collateral/guarantees market in Argentina (on-exchange repo).

This is a market that has grown exponentially and has facilitated financing in the capital market. We are going to look at the different stages of evolution, since the product was adapted to different needs, helping in this growth. We will also review how we calculate the risk associated with this operation, all of which is guaranteed by the central counterparty (the CCP), and what types of guarantees we accept with haircuts. There is an interaction between BYMA (negotiation and settlement) and Caja de Valores which opens special accounts for guarantees.
