ACSDA 2016 Workshop

On October 27 and 28, thirty-one delegates from 18 ACSDA member organizations met in Miami, Florida for the 2016 edition of the ACSDA Workshop.

During two full days, the delegates made presentations and were engaged in in-depth discussions focusing on two subjects that are very important to CSDs at this time, namely BRP/DRP practices and Cyber-security.

As member CSDs strive to ensure that they are operating in compliance with prevailing internationally accepted standards in connection with BRP/DRP, the delegates examined the requirements associated with ISO 22301 certification, crisis event management as well as some market wide initiatives being pursued in some markets.

The second day of the Workshop focused on Cyber-security related issues, using a number of case studies to focus discussion around the increasing threats associated with cyber attacks.

In addition to the information that was shared, this event provided another tremendous opportunity for ACSDA members to network with their colleagues from across the region.
